We didn't accomplish much this week. I only was open for three days and between low attendance and taking Wednesday to go to McDonald's and the playland... we didn't get much done.
Here is what we did...
We finished our letter Kk books... finally. Here is our letter Kk book.
This is the cover and we colored the letter Kk and the kite.
On the left we did our three piece letter Kk puzzles and colored the parts of the kite
that had a Kk in it. On the right we found the picture that was different and did a
pre-writing activity with Kk and pictures that begin with the Kk sound from
"Get Ready for the Code".
On the left we circled the matching letter and we colored pictures using clues to guess
the picture from "Getting Ready for the Code". On the right we used Confessions of a
Homeschoolers Letter Hunt to find letter Kk's.
On the left we drew lines to pictures that begin with the /k/ sound and we traced
letter Kk's. On the right we colored pictures that began with the /k/ sound and we
drew lines from the kites to letter k's. Most of these activities were found in "Getting
Ready for the Code".
On the left we drew lines from the letter to the picture that began with the letter's sound
and we traced/printed letter Kk's. On the right we colored pictures that began with the /k/
sound and we traced/printed Kk's.
On the left we said the picture name, drew a circle around the letter that the picture begins
with, and printed the letter and we traced/printed letter Kk's. On the right we said the picture
name and printed the letter sound we heard at the beginning and colored the pictures.
We also did a few gingerbread activities. Some of these activities came from Homeschool Creations and I'm not sure about the others.
And that sums it up. Once the holidays are over it will be back to work for us.
Best,
Rose
