Some of our October Curriculum...

We talked a lot about fall so we made a tissue paper leaf from childcareland.com as one of her daily art projects.

we did some leaf rubbings,

And a nature collage (we went outdoors and collected things around the yard, stuck them on contact paper, put a backing on and used clear packing tape to seal the edges).

We sponge painted leaves for a fall tree,

and one of our concepts was small and large so we glued small leaves on the small tree and large leaves on the large tree (worksheet from Home Preschool Program). We colored the trees before gluing the leaves.

We also made trees from paper plates and glued split peas on them for leaves. They are hanging above our daycare room.

We fingerpainted pumpkins,

we made a triangle witch,

and we colored a witch and cut hair out of yellow construction paper as a scissor skill.

A few pictures of our artwork around the daycare room...
